As mentioned above Sarah from Design has done an awesome job at organising a Band Night at The Oxford Tavern as a fundraiser for our Grad Show.
Basically all bands are donating the proceeds of the night to the grad show, which is pretty cool! To go along with that each band will announce what the night is about and a hat will be passed around to the punters to collect money.

The night will be on the Friday of week 15, which happens to be the last official day of our Creative Arts degree. No better of an excuse to come along and get loose! Plus entry is free.

The 08 Cocktail party will be held at the CBD Sports Bar, under the Rydges hotel in Wollongong, the night will be themed to a black and white dress code with a raffle and prizes to be won on the night, including best dressed.

Tickets are $16 and are available at uni centre or music farmers (5 crown lane, wollongong)

TRIVIA NIGHT

Saturday 11.10.08
7.30pm till 12 midnight

We will be holding a Trivia night at Wollongong City Tennis Club, Beaton Park. There will be heaps of great prizes to be won on the night.

Tickets are $10 per person with 10 people on each table. To book a table email Jarryd

Tables are limited so be quick to get involved.

NUDE AUCTION SUBMISSIONS

SHOW SOME SKIN!!

Calling all artists to submit 'Nude Works' to be auctioned off at the actual event.
Works can be in any medium and must be associated with 'the nude'

SELECTED WORKS WILL BE EXHIBITED FOR VIEWING PRIOR TO THE AUCTION

Stacie and Kate will be collecting all submissions at the bottom of the stairs outside the painting room in Building 25 on the following dates:

Tuesday 19th August 1pm - 4pm
Wednesday 20th August 1pm - 4pm

NUDE AUCTION

The annual nude auction is one of the the key fundraising events for the 2008 Grad Show Exhibition 'The Rabbit Hole' and all money raised goes towards organisations for this event.

An Exhibition including all donated works will run from the 25th August - 5th September in the Long Gallery located in the Creative Arts Building 25. The 'NUDE AUCTION' will take place on the 4th September within the Exhibiiton Space.

CAKE STALLS

Keeping with the tradition, we are holding a series of cake stalls to raise funds for this years Grad Show.

Basically we NEED cakes/sweets etc and volunteers to man the stall.
Helpers and volunteers are required to meet at 9.30am on Wednesday out the front of the Creative Arts Building.
Cake Stalls will be held on Wednesdays in the following weeks:

SO GET THE OVEN MITS READY AND HELP CONTRIBUTE.

COMMUNITY KIOSK

On Saturday 20.09.08 and Saturday 27.09.08 we will be occupying the community kiosk in Wollongong mall. To help raise money towards the grad show we will be raffling off a kayak, to be exct its a 2.7m yellow Ocky (paddle included) that was kindly donated by Australis canoes.
